This privately owned site has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and its material may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening.
Nature of the Service
Jackson Parish Released Inmates is a private reference that points to jail and inmate record resources in Jackson Parish and Louisiana, as well as outside research tools. It stores no official custody or court records. It cannot confirm status, release a person, post bond, or file a request with an agency.
Acceptable Use Rules
Visitors agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. They may not:
- break a law through or in connection with the site;
- stalk, harass, threaten, or target another person;
- make a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision from site content;
- seek unauthorized access to any system or account;
- run bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools; or
- interfere with service for other visitors.
No Consumer Reports
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no credit report, consumer report, background check, or screening service. Its data may not be used to decide employment, termination, tenancy, housing, creditworthiness, insurance terms, a license, a permit, public-benefit eligibility, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.
Outside Services and Links
Links may lead to sheriffs, corrections agencies, release records, courts, legal resources, federal locators, and private search services. A link does not endorse the destination. Jackson Parish Released Inmates does not control an outside site's content, data practices, prices, availability, or terms.
Service Without Warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, free of defects, or matched by a partner's search result. Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by the sheriff or another government agency.
Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside provider.
User Indemnity
A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its operators, and content partners harmless from claims, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse, or breach of these terms.
Ownership of Materials
Original text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Jackson Parish Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or changed without written permission, except where law permits.
Changes and Access
These terms may be revised at any time, with the new version effective when posted. Site access may also be limited or revoked at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.
Louisiana Governing Law
Louisiana law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Louisiana.
Severability
If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain effective. The affected term will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it lawful.
Terms Questions
Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contacts page. That page cannot answer questions for a government office.
